Corrections & Organization Responses

Current through July 24, 2026

Blair Compass accepts factual corrections, source updates, methodology challenges, and concise organization responses. Each request is checked against the underlying record. Verified material changes are corrected, dated, and documented; no submitter receives editorial control or veto authority.

How corrections are handled

1. Identify the exact item

Name the organization and page, quote the exact sentence or data point, and identify the section or table where it appears.

2. Supply the best evidence

Provide the primary source, filing, court record, official page, or other evidence; include its date and the reporting period when applicable.

3. State the requested change

Explain whether the item is factually wrong, outdated, unclear, unsupported, misclassified, or scored inconsistently, and propose replacement wording when useful.

4. Receive a documented outcome

The request is marked corrected, clarified, updated, no change, pending additional evidence, or published as an organization response. Material changes appear in the public change log.

Submit a factual correction

Use this form for a specific factual error, outdated source, broken link, calculation issue, missing primary record, or methodology inconsistency. Disagreement alone does not require a change; the supporting evidence controls.

What happens next: verified submissions enter the private Blair Compass review queue. The source is checked, any affected calculation or score is recomputed, and material changes are dated in the change log.

Primary filings, official records, court documents, or current organizational pages are preferred.
